Exped Splash 15 stands out as a fully waterproof, ultra-packable roll-top backpack that adds dependable protection with barely any weight. This backpack is built for water sports, day hikes, and travel as a compact spare bag that disappears into your luggage until needed. Minimal shoulder straps attach at the back with a Velcro fastening, and the carry setup can be quickly changed into a shoulder bag by pulling the straps out to one side. A carry handle and a light interior make it easier to grab and spot small essentials, while the roll-top closure also helps compress the load.

I bought this as a dry bag that also works as a light "hiking backpack" if you're going a little further from camp. It carries extra clothes, a water bottle, snacks and valuables very effectively. Of course, it's not comfortable with heavy stuff, but very good when you don't want to carry an extra daypack and the need isn't heavy to carry.| Overall rating |
Lightweight check, compact check, backpack check, waterproof check. Excellent for an adhoc need.

Runs his business well, as long as there are not many complaints or preferably not loud. Not the most comfortable, but easy and light. Sometimes you need a small outer pocket, for example for keys, etc. It works well as a beach bag or daypack when you leave a larger bag in the tent/on a hike, and also works as a dry bag at the same time. When used as a beach bag, of course it leaves all the moisture from, for example, a snorkel inside.
